I'm slowly getting back into the swing of things after that icky cold. It really wasn't that bad, I spent two days snoozing around the house and felt much, much better.(thanks for the get well wishes)

With getting over the pesky cold.. I've been slowly getting back into playing with my books. Last night I put a second coat of stain on a couple books. I love that stain color - it is so saturated and old looking. They will look so great when they are finished with the brass hinges.

Other than the staining and a couple sketch ideas for one of the books.. that's all I have mustered up so far this week. It has been so cold that I really haven't wanted to spend much time in the garage sanding and staining wood.. especially as I'm getting over the cold and all.

This album comes on in spurts on my ipod.. I love Liz Phair.. well the old raw Liz Phair especially. This album embodies so many memories.. don't you love music that can pull you back to a time. I remember walking a lot while listening to this album (didn't have a car then), first/old love, the mountains, and thinking I was really fucking cool listening because I was listening to Liz Phair.
