first things first.. nothing beats Laura Veirs Pandora station on a Sunday morning... yes please.

I'm loving the feeling of the studio/office. I finally got to do some work yesterday and the space is so different now. I don't even mind the smell of exhaust from my ghetto neighbors hoochie van as he parks it.. Okay that a lie.. it's rather annoying, in fact they are annoying in general and so, so, so ghetto. (tangent done) Anyway.. the studio is coming along but rather nicely and I'm very into it, my heart is signing with the space and vibe.

I was recently inspired by a old acquaintance Rachel Peddersen to take pictures of my desktop. I think she is a brilliant artist and love following her on facebook and what not. I have always loved typewriters and seeing that she had one on her desktop made me do a little squeal of joy. (in no way will I steal Rachel's desktop series for profit - it's only for my own perspective.)

The show on the 1st of October will be a mash up of my works. I will not only have the "diminishing technology" series, I will also be showing some of my heart boxes.

I have enjoyed the fun loving aspect of these two series but my heart is pulling back to more introspective things. I want to get back to book making and shadow box work. I will keep up with the oldies but I feel a shift.. which is good. Not only am I changing..the weather is. I put together some different paper to get weather worn for future work.

These bundles are hanging from my back porch. I can't wait to see what will happen and how they will look when I collect them.
