I cashed in my trade for the journal last night.. yep. I had a luxurious facial and massage. It was so great and relaxing! Just what I needed after a long week and strange day yesterday.

After the facial I made a point to visit Slate Gallery for their First Friday. Jessica Martin's show was opening last night. I love her work! I love the depth and layers involved in her pieces. You should check it out while it's up.




There was another reason why I stopped in Slate.. but I can't tell you that yet. I'll give you a hint though.. I'm working on a project that involves several local galleries and businesses.
